Endless Wishing Wells

I toss coins into endless wishing wells
That’s why they never come true
I put all of my eggs in one basket
They all crack and bleed through
I walk a tightrope ten stories high
And get distracted by the view
I’m in a room with a gas leak
And I haven’t got a clue
I dye my hair in bleach
And die swallowing it too
The mind is a symphony
And mine is out of tune
